Who we are

SANNA Design Studio Ltd ("SANNA", "we", "us") is a company registered in Scotland (company number SC852599), with its registered office in Auchterarder. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website, our social media pages and our advertising.

What we collect

• Enquiries. When you fill in our project form or email us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the project's location, the type of project, how you heard about us, and anything else you choose to tell us.

• Facebook and Instagram lead forms. If you send an enquiry through one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us the details you entered in the form, typically your name, email address, phone number and answers to our questions.

• Website usage. If you accept cookies, we and our partners collect information about how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, your device and browser, your approximate location and the ad that brought you here.

• Clients. If you become a client, we also hold the information we need to deliver your project: your property address, drawings, selections, quotes, invoices and correspondence.

How we use it, and our legal basis

• Replying to your enquiry and arranging a discovery visit: taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

• Delivering your project, invoicing and keeping records: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

• Measuring which ads bring in enquiries, and showing our ads to people likely to be interested: your consent, given through the cookie banner.

• Improving our website and services: our legitimate interests.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

Our website uses cookies. Essential cookies keep the site working. With your consent, we also use analytics and marketing cookies, including the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone who saw our ads visits the site or sends an enquiry. This lets us measure our advertising and show our ads to relevant audiences.

These cookies are only set if you click Accept on the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the Manage cookies link on the banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser. You can also control ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

Who we share it with

We share information only where we need to, with:

• Squarespace, which hosts our website and forms

• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, for Facebook and Instagram advertising and lead forms

• Google, for email

• our project management and accounting systems

• trades, suppliers and contractors working on your project, who receive only what they need, such as an address and access details

• our professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't become projects: up to 2 years from our last contact.

• Client and project records: 6 years after the project ends, to meet tax, accounting and warranty requirements.

• Marketing cookie data: kept for the periods set by the cookie provider, typically up to 13 months.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to or restrict how we use it, ask for a copy of it to take elsewhere, and withdraw consent at any time.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113). We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
